Carnac : Sacred Land of Megalithism
Megaliths
For me, everything began in Carnac. My love for the standing stones led me to contribute to several publications, notably with Paysages de Mégalithes, the organization behind the UNESCO World Heritage nomination for this heritage; but also with the Carnac Museum of Prehistory, the Éditions du Patrimoine, and with Les Vaisseaux de Pierres, who published my portfolio Carnac | Punctuations.
A second book of monochromatic photographs, in a prestigious edition, is currently in preparation.

Partnership with Leica
A Leica to immortalize the megaliths
The book project on the megaliths of Carnac and the Morbihan shores won the support of Leica Camera France, and I had the privilege of signing a partnership with this legendary brand. All the photographs were thus created with the remarkable Leica Q2 Monochrom.
This book will be published as part of the inscription of the megalithic remains of the Carnac region on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
The Hunt for Megaliths

Megalithic Landscapes
Earth, sea, sky, and beyond: horizons in images
The hunt for megaliths is a thrilling pursuit. One traverses breathtaking landscapes, and imagination takes flight. Just a few millennia ago, these very places were trodden by those who raised these silent stones.
As I wander through these lands, my eye and my camera remain ever alert to the beauty of storm-laden horizons. In this section, I invite you to discover a small selection of these territories in their raw purity, revealed through timeless black-and-white landscapes.
Aerial Photography
Soaring above the shores: aerial perspectives of the land of megaliths
Aerial expeditions carried out as part of a documentary project on the megalithic landscapes of southern Morbihan. The photographs taken during these flights contribute to the UNESCO nomination dossier led by the association Paysages de Mégalithes, dedicated to the inscription of these Neolithic remains on the World Heritage List.

Land of Megaliths
Published by Éditions Ouest-France
Iconographic contribution with several photographs of the megaliths of southern Morbihan.
This book evokes the history of these prestigious sites, their discoverers, their belonging to a Breton culture and territory, the current bond between the inhabitants and the megaliths, the efforts undertaken to preserve the stones, and the transmission of this heritage to future generations. The author met with historians and local figures to convey both the grand history and the intimate relationship between the sites and the people.

Featured in the “Return of Experience” section with six pages devoted to the projects surrounding my two books on megaliths!
Profession Photographe is a highly respected magazine that I wholeheartedly recommend to all photographers. It defends our profession, informs, advises, and provides a true treasure trove of practical knowledge about our craft.
My thanks to Profession Photographe and to Pascal Quittemelle, founder and editor-in-chief, for this wonderful opportunity to share the story of my two publications.
The Alignments of Carnac – A Landscape of Prehistoric Standing Stones
Published by Éditions du Patrimoine.
More than 36 photographs, including the cover, for this remarkable collaboration with Éditions du Patrimoine on the megalithic treasures of Carnac. The text is by Olivier Agogué, administrator of the national monuments of Brittany and director of the Carnac Museum of Prehistory.
The book was published in French, English, German, Spanish, and Italian.
Presentation excerpt:
Dating back 6,500 years, the megalithic site of Carnac is a major landmark of European prehistory. Its nearly 3,000 menhirs stretch across 40 hectares and 4 kilometers, following an architectural arrangement of extraordinary scale. Recent studies have connected the history of these alignments with the transformations of the Neolithic period, the dawn of sedentary life. The rows of menhirs guided processions toward spaces regarded as sacred: the “enclosures.”
